All children need care, patience, understanding and kindness. The care I offer blends together to create an atmosphere and environment that recognises this.   As an OFSTED Registered Childminder with 10 year’s childcare experience, i work in close partnership with parents and carers to create a flexible childminding & day care service, for children of all ages.

Pre school: From experience it is clear that children learn the most when they are happy, relaxed and having fun doing the things they enjoy. Put simply children learn through play, and their development will be encouraged through a wide selection of well planned, age appropriate activities promoting the governments framework known as the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’. I plan toddler groups & learning experiences in the mornings and fill afternoons with a range of activities and experiences. Flexible sleep times are also arranged to suit children’s individual needs. All equipment provided has been carefully selected to aid all areas of your child’s development. There is no doubt that a well planned curriculum is fundamental to your child's development.  I implement a well planned and stimulating learning experience that will give all children the best possible start to their early educational life recognising every child’s individuality, rewarding their strengths and encouraging their growth in all areas.

However my service is about more than the early years curriculum, its about every child looking forward to being here, playing with their friends, enjoying the toys , equipment and new experiences, above all its about having fun!

School Term: Breakfast Club between 7.45 and 8.45 is great for the school aged children after school we visit local parks or woodland, in inclement weather a variety of projects are provided including art and craft. Home cooked Tea is served at 5pm.

I regularly have themes within the setting that many of our activities will be centred around; each child will enjoy learning about these themes with us and their friends. These topics will cover a wide range of subjects and capture each child’s imagination.
